A PV system uses solar radiations to generate direct electrical current (DC) through photovoltaic effect. Once turned into alternating current (AC) with an inverter, it can be used to supply electricity to the devices of our house (dishwasher, water heater, oven, TV, vacuum cleaner…) and to our electric car.
