If it hails or the temperature’s too hot, is there the risk of damaging the panel?

Panels look fragile, and that’s true; however PV panels are being tested many times before being put on the market. The purpose of these tests is to try out resistance and durability in extreme conditions; one of these tests is to see how the panel resists to big hailstones (hailstones with a diameter of 2,5cm). Other weather conditions or high temperatures are not considered a damage. After having passed these tests, the solar panel is guaranteed and gets the accredited certification by international institutions.
